Kaun Apply Kar Sakta Hai? (Eligibility)
- UG (B.Des/B.F.Tech): Class 12 paas ya 2027 me de rahe hon. B.F.Tech ke liye 12th me Maths zaroori hai. 1 August 2027 ko umar 24 saal se kam honi chahiye.
- PG (M.Des/M.F.M/M.F.Tech): kisi bhi recognized university se bachelor’s degree; umar ki koi seema nahi.
- Admission desh bhar ke 20 NIFT campuses me hota hai.
Exam Pattern — GAT + CAT
Stage 1 me 2 tests hote hain:
- GAT (General Ability Test): computer-based, objective (MCQ). B.Des ke liye 100 questions, 2 ghante. Har sahi jawab par 1 mark, galat par 0.25 negative marking.
- CAT (Creative Ability Test): pen-and-paper, drawing/design-based, 3 ghante. Isme aapki creativity aur design soch parakhi jaati hai — ratta maar padhai yahan kaam nahi aati.
- Stage 2: B.Des ke liye Situation Test (haathon se model banana), PG ke liye interview/group discussion — sirf Stage 1 clear karne walon ko bulaya jaata hai.
